CCS announces the winner of its third annual “Classroom Solutionz” grant for K-12 educators.  Each year CCS asks K-12 educators throughout Arizona to submit essays and proposals describing their ideal technology infused classroom. Pamela Lizardi, a teacher at Show Low High School submitted the winning application.

CCS recently held an internal silent auction to raise funds to purchase 5,670 water bottles for the Phoenix Heat Relief Network as well as donations for the American Red Cross disaster relief fund.  Both efforts are part of ongoing employee service projects.

CCS is hosting a “Garage Sale” open house on Friday, Nov. 5 for anyone interested in browsing through or buying available technology parts and equipment at bargain prices.  Garage Sale items are a culmination of five years of unused inventory from the company’s warehouse.

CCS announces the expansion of its $250 thousand CCS Manufacturer Partner Showcase featuring state-of-the-art A/V technology from more than 30 manufacturers.  The new technology will be unveiled on Wednesday, Nov. 3 at the Grand Re-Opening of the CCS Manufacturer Partner Showcase at 4:00 PM.

CCS announced today the launch of its new Business Development Division and the promotion of Julie Solomon to manager of marketing and business development.  Solomon will lead the division and support new business development efforts for CCS’ sales territories in Arizona and New Mexico.

CCS launched today its “iWant Technology!” program created to assist K-12 schools in the installation of technology for individual classrooms.  Classes with 30 students or more are eligible to earn a $150 credit towards the installation of interactive teaching equipment between now and December 31, 2010.
