Service Technician
Our Dallas/Ft.Worth, Texas market is seeking a Service Technician who is interested in being a part of a service oriented team. Summary Installs and repairs audio visual equipment by performing the following duties. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. § Reviews work orders to move, change, install, repair, or remove control boards, projectors, switchers, plasmas, LCD equipment. § Reads technical manuals to learn correct settings for equipment; occasionally communicates with manufacturer § Disassembles, inspects and tests equipment to locate and repair problem. § Interface with customers to help remedy problems; frequently occurs onsite. § Tests equipment to ensure that specifications are met. § Enters commands into computer to test equipment. § Reads messages on computer screen to verify that data is being transmitted between locations according to specifications. § Demonstrates use of equipment. § Measures, cuts, and installs wires and cables. § Terminates wires or cablesTo perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies: Customer Service; Interpersonal Skills; Oral Communication; Quality and Dependability Education and/or Experience - Associate's degree (A. Integration Manager
The Dallas/Ft. Worth market has experienced tremendous growth and is seeking an Integration Manager who is interested in being a part of a service oriented team.
Summary - Directs, administers, and coordinates the activities of the Branch Integration and Service departments in support of policies, goals, and objectives by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate managers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following: Other duties may be assigned.
*** Oversees subordinate supervisors, both installation and service, who direct department activities and programs that implement the department’s goals and objectives. *** Directs the preparation of short-term and long-range plans based on Branch goals and growth objectives for integration department. *** Creates the structure and processes necessary to manage the departments current activities and its projected growth.*** Maintains a sound plan of department organization, upholding policies to ensure adequate department development and to provide for capable management succession.*** Develops and installs procedures and controls to promote communication and adequate information flow within the department. *** Supervises design of reports to assist in the smooth and efficient flow of information.*** Evaluates the results of overall operations regularly and systematically and reports these results to the General Manager. *** Ensures that the responsibilities, authorities, and accountability of all direct subordinates are defined and understood. *** Ensures that all organization activities and operations are carried out in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and laws governing business operations.
Supervisory Responsibilities - Directly supervises one to four Project Managers; Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the company’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Qualifications - Degree or certificate in engineering preferred; or three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. *** Strong worth ethic, professional attitude, team player, problem solver, organized and good communication skills needed. ***To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Edcuation Consultant
CCS Los Angeles is looking for an experienced K-12 teacher to help build our business selling SMARTBoards and other SMART technology into schools in Los Angeles and Orange Counties, and surrounding areas. Main job responsibilities include: - Presentations to teachers, administrators, and parent groups on the benefits of adopting SMART technology in their classrooms; - Collaboration with CCS sales personnel to sell SMART products into K-12, higher-ed, and even some corporate customers; - Conducting monthly trainings at the CCS L.A. and O.C. locations on various SMART technology products (see http://www.ccsprojects.com/ca/sub_training_courses.cfm) and at customer locations, as needed; - Collaborating with our Service Department to provide minor tech support to customers who are having issues using their SMARTBoards and other SMART technology products; and - Contributing to our various online resources (see www.SmarterClassrooms.com) to help build a knowledge base and community for SMARTBoard users. Qualifications include: - Minimum three years of in-classroom teaching experience; - Experience and facility with classroom technology products; - Excellent presentation skills; - SMARTBoard experience (not an absolute requirement but a major plus); - A good work ethic and positive, can-do attittude; - A valid driver's license and vehicle to do outbound visits. We are looking for a full-time Education Consultant, but would also entertain a part-time position for an excellent candidate.
