We were just looking for a good projector with a bright image that would take the newer inputs, we get a lot more people asking for computer displays and video displays, so we wanted to get a bright projector.  We put in a new sound system, it has a dedicated sound system with wireless mics so it’s ready to go at any moment.  We’ve been working with CCS for about three years now on lots of projects this is just one of them. We’ve also installed almost a hundred classrooms, we’re up to about 90 classrooms and I’d say we’ve had a good experience.  The guys that come down do a good job and are professional, they treat other people professionally as well as do a good job so we’ve been really happy.

  The experience has been excellent, I’m very happy with the crew they have out, the salespeople they are very professional, they handle things quite well, if we have a problem they deal with it.  You call them up and with the distance between here (Sierra Vista) and Tucson they seem to be able to work us into the schedule for any work that might be needed. They are also well versed enough that I can explain the problem on the phone and normally they can walk me right through it and we can take care of it.  Down time is something any educational institution can not afford, we need to have the equipment up and running and they definitely have helped us to do so.  They are consistent, they come in with a good price every time, and they do what they say they are going to do and in any business that is key”

 Bids went out for the technology before the building was even started and CCS turned around the bids quickly and then met all of my time frames, I was lucky because I know the summer is a busy time but because we were way ahead we had them scheduled and they came exactly when I needed them.  Because of the response, whenever I email my salesman I get a response the same day, if it’s a quote, question, turnaround time is immediate, any time we have had an issue with things they came right out and fixed it.  CCS was wonderful, they were timely, they showed up when I needed them, they came back when things needed to be adjusted, they were great.

  In the chambers where the city council meets the projectors allow citizens, staff, and outside vendors like builders and architects to present to the council. Previously if presenters set up so council could see them the audience couldn’t.  The screens in the front and the rear of the room allow both council as well as the audience to see exactly what’s being proposed. Everything in the room the projectors, screens, document camera is controlled by the court clerk from the AMX touch panel, she even controls the voting system! We will put an agenda item up in the screen and council members as well as the audience can see it and as the council votes the results are instantly displayed and recorded.  This new system is a 180 degree departure from what we had before, when people presented the speakers could go on for hours! CCS installed timed microphones that limit the speakers to three minutes! Believe me the council is thrilled! From the decision making phase through the entire process it was seamless.

The scope of the project was more free form and we were looking for direction on what it could be and in the end it ultimately came down to being directed based on a set specific use of video art that was going to go on the plasmas.  It was a very, very quick turnaround time (about 3 or 4 weeks) and initially some members of the team didn’t think it could be done but everybody pulled together and got it done for the event that was to be hosted by President Crow.  They didn’t let me down, they stepped up to the plate as they said they would in the in the beginning way back when, when we first did our first round of proposals for the original project, they delivered to what they presented.  It was fabulous, they (CCS) were given a very short turn around time from the point we started until they point it needed to be completed and put on the wall, there was no other way to describe it other than fabulous!
