Because the space was so limited we needed to make the boardroom a training room, also. For board meetings we needed to update the technology especially visually for the audience. CCS came in and installed four cameras, two projectors, added two 60 inch monitors to replace our old televisions.  Before, this room wasn’t set up for PowerPoint presentations because people in the audience were not able to see. Now (with the two 60 inch plasmas) people can see and get something out of it.  They (CCS) ... seemed to understand what my needs were, they were very responsive and even now when I have any issue at all I get a quick response.

We were looking for a way to project images here on campus that would showcase the things that are going on campus, what the kids are doing, educational information, we wanted to educate, entertain, and inform...We played around with a couple of ideas, we actually played around with a projection system, but the system would need more lumens in order to project and the ambient light had to be taken into consideration. The thought came up to do a closed circuit type of (design) where you would have a direct feed into the plasma screens.  It’s worked out great, we have been very pleased,  we want to showcase events that the schools are doing, events that are coming up, showcase sporting and cultural events that the kids are participating in. We use it both as a form of advertisement for upcoming events as well as to showcase events that have occurred already and kids love to see themselves and it shows all the things the shows are doing.  It’s been a very pleasurable experience, CCS was able to come in and deliver the equipment as promised, it’s been a very worth while experience.  In today’s business market its important (to have things installed on time) you want to get what you paid for and you want it in the time you’ve agreed it would be installed.

We were basically looking to have it more or less self sufficient so that no matter who came in here they could use it. The boardroom is used for more than just a TV studio which is what we use for board meetings but its used throughout the whole week with other departments. We wanted to have something that they could easily come in here and push a button and set up and everything would work for them.  They built everything around the TV so we can still do the live broadcast and they put in all the monitors and the Crestron unit - the remote part for all of the other departments to use.  Working with them, they did a great job, they listened to what we asked for.  We are very happy, when I use (the system) it is really easy, when I get a call from someone who wants to use it, it is easy to talk them through to get it done.  They delivered what we wanted to have done, they gave it to us at a fair price and the work was done when they said it would be done and the support was really good!

 Bids went out for the technology before the building was even started and CCS turned around the bids quickly and then met all of my time frames, I was lucky because I know the summer is a busy time but because we were way ahead we had them scheduled and they came exactly when I needed them.  Because of the response, whenever I email my salesman I get a response the same day, if it’s a quote, question, turnaround time is immediate, any time we have had an issue with things they came right out and fixed it.  CCS was wonderful, they were timely, they showed up when I needed them, they came back when things needed to be adjusted, they were great.

In the boardroom itself we needed a system that was automated and that would allow us to present a much better product for our board meetings. In the past in the board meetings the participants couldn’t interact with what was going on but now they can. Everything worked out well, anytime we had any issues they would come right back out and take care of them, the project was done on time and within the budget we put forth. We have worked with CCS several times, they are very professional and meet all the needs we have. CCS is very responsive, I think the process in which they do their planning, the process in which they show you their plans is very professional. The people they had installing everything were very professional the project manager had everything in on time.
