Every year around this time of year, companies and organizations alike start to look past their business goals and offer up efforts to bring holiday cheer and gifts of thanks to those less fortunate. CCS Presentation Systemsis no different, and our efforts are particularly heartfelt in 2012, a year that has seen its share of hardship for those affected by the still-lingering effects of Hurricane Sandy.
We’ve partnered with a few Arizona charity organizations for our 2012 CCS Kids Charity Drive, and it’s now underway. It’s an effort that our employees, company partners and executives have supported over the past several years with tremendous enthusiasm.
Here are the Valley of the Sun charities that support children that CCS is teaming up to help spread some generosity and goodwill during the holiday season. We hope you can take part in our efforts and bring a toy for a tot, or an ornament for our tree.
* Toys for Tots – CCS is an official drop off location for Toys for Tots, the national gift-giving operation run by Marine Corps Base in Quantico, Virginia. We ask interested donors to drop off new, unwrapped toys at our CCS Presentation Systems lobby, located in Scottsdale, AZ.
* Sunshine Acres Children’s Home – After Thanksgiving, CCS will set up its Christmas tree, complete with ornaments matched to children’s names from the home. Once it’s up, guests, employees and other visitors can pick an ornament with a child’s name/age and holiday gift request. Once you have the gift for the child, drop it off to our office lobby.
* Voices for CASA Children – We’re asking for people to drop off new or gently used blankets under the tree in the CCS lobby for this organization that looks after abused and neglected children in state care.
